Our Emollient Cream is sourced from the Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery located in the Kanazawa region.

With foundations starting from the Edo period in 1625, Fukumitsuya has the highest level of craftsmanship, as well as a repertoire of traditional family recipes that have been honed and perfected over hundreds of years.

Kanazawa flourished during the Edo period, becoming famous for its craftsmanship in kimono, gold beating, lacquer craft and ceramics.

The town, surrounded by the sea and mountains, has also enjoyed a rich food culture. Today, it is known as a modernised city with history of old traditional Japanese cultures still being enjoyed to this day.

How To Use

Dispense 1-2 pumps into your hands and gently massage into your skin
For areas that are particularly dry, we recommend repeating these steps and layering the oil, until you are satisfied.

Organic Sake Lees Powder

Sake lees from organic junmai sake are made into a non-alcoholic powder. It is the first ingredient in Japan that has high antioxidant power and is rich in dietary fibre.
Organic Sake Lees Extract

Due to its high antioxidant power, you can also expect anti-aging effects.
Organic Sake Lees Oil

Contains natural human ceramide derived from fermentation.
